As of the 1st of October 2024, Loughborough Primary School becomes an academy and the ninth school in our Charter family. They join our existing four primary schools, one junior school and the three Charter secondary schools, The London South Teaching School Hub, and the Charles Dickens Research School, offering even greater potential to collaborate, develop and work together as we serve our local communities and children and young people across Lambeth and Southwark.
Jonathan Slater, Chair of the Trust Board, said; “Today we are strengthened by welcoming Loughborough Primary School, our second school in Lambeth, into the Charter family. Parents and carers place huge trust in the institutions that educate their children, and we are delighted that Loughborough has chosen our multi academy trust as their home. We are excited by the wider opportunities for collaboration this brings us for developing the very best outcomes for our pupils, their families, and our communities.”
Sarah Haines, Chair of Governors at Loughborough, said; "We are delighted to now be part of a family of schools who share our same values and ambition. We look forward to continuing to serve our amazing and diverse community as part of the Charter Trust."
The Trust’s mission is to build better futures for children and young people and with the addition of Loughborough Primary School now provides education for over 4,500 pupils aged from 2 to 18 across South London and beyond.
