Today, we are excited to announce that three further schools officially join The Charter Schools Educational Trust

Today, we are excited to announce that three further schools officially join The Charter Schools Educational Trust following a period of successful collaboration and close consultation over the past two years.

Lyndhurst Primary School becomes an academy and joins the Trust today alongside Dulwich Hamlet Junior School and The Belham Primary School, both of whom join as the Dulwich Hamlet Educational Trust merges with The Charter Trust.

This news marks the start of the next chapter for The Charter Schools Educational Trust, further delivering on its mission to provide an education which maximises outcomes, transforms lives and builds communities. The three schools join Charles Dickens Primary School and the two Charter secondary schools, The London South Teaching School Hub, and the Charles Dickens Research School, and offers even greater potential to collaborate, develop and work together as we serve our local communities across Southwark.

John Godfrey, Chair of the Trust Board, said; “Today we are strengthened by welcoming Lyndhurst Primary School, Dulwich Hamlet Junior School and The Belham Primary School into our family. We know parents and carers place huge trust in the institutions that educate their children, and we are delighted that each of our new joiners has chosen The Charter Schools Educational Trust as their home. We are excited by the wider opportunities for collaboration this brings us for developing the very best outcomes for our pupils, their families, and our communities.
