About the Role

We are seeking to appoint a number of enthusiastic, well qualified and skilled **Learning Support Assistants **to join our welcoming, successful and growing school. These roles are suitable for those interested in supporting young people with a range of needs and also to those considering a career in teaching.  This is a rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact on the academic and social development of students with special educational needs. The position begins **in September 2025. **

  • Ability to tailor lessons to student needs
  • Ability to use assessment data to generate appropriate and effective intervention work

  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships through excellent interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills (verbally and written)
  • Ability to develop effective teamwork
  • Demonstrate inclusive approach to education

  • Ability to manage own time effectively
  • Commitment to regular on-going professional development
  • Commitment to collaborative working practices
  • Teaching student with SEND at KS3 and KS4
  • Experience of planning and assessment
  • Ability to teach up to GCSE Foundation Maths, and KS3 English or Science
  • Experience of raising attainment in a classroom environment
  • Understanding of strategies needed to establish consistently high aspirations and standards of results and behaviour
