Social Sciences Leader

About the Role

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, well qualified and skilled Social Science Subject Leader to join our welcoming, successful and growing school, starting in September 2025. The Social Sciences Lead will provide subject leadership and management across Psychology, Sociology, and BTEC Health and Social Care to ensure high-quality teaching, effective resource use, and outstanding student outcomes.

What skills and experience we're looking for

  • Is a skilled, versatile and driven subject leader with a passion for delivering an excellent social sciences provision to students across Years 10 to 13.
  • Consistently models excellent practice and has students' academic progress and personal development at the core of their professional motivation
  • Wants an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant, diverse and growing organisation.
  • Is keen to work collaboratively within the wider Humanities Faculty team.
