Teacher

About the Role

Streatham Wells Primary is an exceptional one-form entry school in between Streatham Hill and Tulse Hill. We are a small, friendly and caring school where everyone is committed to providing the very best learning opportunities for our children. At Streatham Wells we believe in growing hearts and minds. We deliver a curriculum which promotes academic excellence as well as supporting physical and mental wellbeing. We aim to foster learners to create a future generation more enlightened than the current and our curriculum is actively anti racist, anti-homophobic, anti-sexist and anti-ableist. This role is a full time teaching role, offered initially as fixed term, with a view to move to permanent. The role consists of PPA cover, cover for ECTs and part time teachers. The teacher would be expected to plan, mark and teach a variety of classes from Year 1 to Year 6. We welcome candidates with a particular area of expertise such as Science, Music or Spanish Teaching. Planning time will be given and we use a number of schemes, meaning the teacher would be working from that rather than starting from scratch!
