Shalene leads on strategic operations for the Trust including IT, Health & Safety and legal, as well as providing advice on statutory guidance and regulation, compliance, constitutional and procedural matters. She is also the Trust's Company Secretary.

She joined the Trust in 2013, initially in the learning support team at The Charter School North Dulwich, followed by roles including careers leader and Head of Governance and Communications.

Before this she had a long and successful career in advertising and account management for clients including the The City of London Corporation, ITV and The Royal Society. 

Shalene is a member of The Chartered Governance Institute.
