Cassie joined the Trust as CEO in April 2020 following 16 years of school leadership. Cassie was the Headteacher at Charles Dickens Primary School until July 2021. She was pivotal in overseeing Charles Dickens’ role as the lead school for the London South Teaching Schools Alliance, now the London South Teaching School Hub, and led the establishment of the Charles Dickens EEF Research School.

Cassie is a National Leader of Education, Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, and brings with her a wealth of experience in leading organisations collaboratively. As CEO, her focus is the sustainable delivery of the Trust's mission to provide an education that transforms the lives of children and young people, and strengthens the communities in which they live. This will be achieved by supporting the continued excellent performance of our schools, leading investment in our workforce, and developing new relationships and partnerships that make a difference to the pupils in the Trust and beyond.

Cassie was awarded an OBE for services to Education in 2020.
