We work closely with our school community and parents are encouraged into school to work with us and to assist in the development and progress of the children throughout their primary educational experience, enabling them to reach their full potential.
We believe that children need to be actively involved in their learning and see the purpose and value of their involvement.  It is therefore vital that the children are encouraged to develop the desire, belief, and confidence to achieve. We have high expectations for all children and encourage them to work both independently and collaboratively for them to become successful learners and well-rounded, tolerant, individuals.

We use technology alongside specialist teaching to provide an inclusive and vibrant place for children to thrive. There is no better example of this than our provision for pupils with special learning difficulties. We are home to a highly regarded Dyslexia Centre. The Dyslexia Centre supports children with SEND through personalised teaching and learning in smaller groups. The Dyslexia Centre also provides family support and wide-ranging training and resources for other schools and nurseries.

The dyslexia centre sits alongside Grove FM, our award-winning ratio station and media unit, creating child-led broadcasts linked to the curriculum and school life. Children’s language and literacy are developed as children create interesting, informative programs and express their thoughts, feelings and ideas. Older pupils get involved in Radio Club to create multi-media podcasts with loads of enthusiasm and real technological flair.
